In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Warren's honor to Oklahoma 4-H Foundation or St Jude's Children's Hospital. Honorary pallbearers include: Ian Walker, Taylor Walker, Beniah Walker, Ben Walker, Skylar Hancock, Luke McElroy, Zach McElroy, Easton Wyrick, Logan Wyrick, Jasper Johnson, and Logan Westphal. Pallbearers Eric Baskin, Sid Tabor, Jett Gardner, TJ Williams, Jimmie Wyrick, and Damon McElroy. Interment will follow at Oddfellows cemetery in Antlers. Services will take place Monday March 13 at 2 pm at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, Charles encourages you, instead to make a donation to the Northshore Food Bank at 125 W. His children Tanya Walker, Jesse and Julie Moore, LeaAnn and Jimmie Wyrick, Tamara and Damon McElroy, Joshua and Paige Johnson. He is survived by his wife Laverda Johnson of Antlers. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Johnson and Ruth Buss Johnson and a son, Leland Frank Johnson. His children remember many trips to drop off food to other families.Īfter moving to Antlers in 1985 he was once again a 4-H Leader and became a social worker with OK Dept of Human Services. He was known for his generosity and willingness to help everyone. He asked her to marry him indirectly by asking Jesse and Tanya if they wanted to move to the farm after he married their Mom. He took over the family wheat farm when his father passed, and was a 4-H Leader in Garfield Co.Īfter many years he found a woman that would tolerate calves in the bathroom. He later graduated from Phillips University with a Master's Degree in Education and became Principal at Hunter High School. In 1963 he became a teacher at Covington High School making $4300 a year. He then went to OSU and received a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture. He graduated Kremlin High School in 1959. Warren grew up on the family farm near Kremlin, Oklahoma.
